Elgin, IL, May 18, 2005: The MRK GROUP LTD was the recent recipient of an Illinois Recycling Grant. This recycling grant is administered by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) and come as a part of Opportunity Returns, Gov. Rod R. Blagojevich’s pro-active, regional economic development strategy designed to create jobs and spur growth in Northeast Illinois. MRK is planning on using the Grant to further expand its computer recycling and shredding capabilities at their facility in Elgin. MRK has been providing cost effective computer recycling services to a variety of businesses, governments and corporations locally and nationally for the last 14 years. We are hoping this expansion of recycling capabilities will allow us to keep the cost of recycling affordable to our customers both current and future. On the last Friday of every month end users may drop off any older computer equipment they would like to have recycled responsibly at no charge. There is a 10 item limit per customer.
